Picnic With the Paranormal at the Historic Topeka State Hospital Cemetery

  • Come join the GHOST LIGHT PARANORMAL team as we sit and dine with the 1,157 people who call Topeka State Hospital (TSH) Cemetery their final resting place. Bring your own lawn chair, food and drink (alcohol-free event), we will have water and condiments on site. We will offer a history of TSH as you enjoy your picnic with the paranormal! As twilight takes over, the investigation begins as we try to contact the patients who still wander the grounds of the 125-year-old insane asylum (1872-1997).

  • What do I bring? Food, non-alcoholic beverages, lawn chairs, flashlight (preferably not a phone light), and any ghost hunting equipment you wish to bring.

At Ghost Light Paranormal, one of our favorite activities is to bring "skeptics" along with us and watch them as they become believers in one night. We have partnerships with several businesses that will allow us free* access and to bring guests for an exciting evening hunting ghosts!* While many of our tours will be free, take note we will occasionally help promote a partner's investigation at a facility that charges admission. We would even be happy to offer our services to an organization looking for a benefit hunt!
This is how we began at Ghost Light Paranormal—by helping individuals who need assistance with experiences they can't explain. We utilize a range of sensitive equipment that aids us in communicating with the spirit realm. However, we also adopt a practical approach to your situation, which may help us clarify it as a typical home construction issue.
